Ex-SP 4368. One of the original three POTB SD9's, purchased in 1988. This unit wore SP's bloody nose until 2000, when it was painted black in an aborted attempt to paint the unit in SP's black widow.

Ex-SP 4405. Purchased in 1993. This unit was damaged in the 1999 wreck that destroyed the 4381, and spent some time at Livingston Rebuild Center in Richland, WA.

Purchased from Oregon Pacific (OPRR). Originally built for US Army, no. 7249, used at Cornhusker Ordinace Plant in Ovina, NE. To the Alaska RR in 1972 as their ARR 7249. Retired in 1983, to the Chelatchie Prairie Railroad # 007. OPRR picked this unit up for its Samtrak service. It has been idle since that service ceased. POTB purchased in Sept. 2008.

Ex-BN 6113, originally Great Northern. One of 10 retired SD9's purchased from BNSF in Dec. 2002. 6113 has not run, and is being used for parts. Long hood designated forward. Scrapped in 2009.
