SEPTA Lansdale Parking Garage Project Lansdale PA June 2016 |
Part Ten of a series on the SEPTA Lansdale Parking Garage Project |
The first week of June featured a pivot from the main structure to the tower on the south end that will eventually house the elevators and connect to the bridge over the Bethlehem Branch. |
On the Madison side, the parts for the bridge have started arriving and are being assembled. |
Within ten days, the tower is up, work with the big crane has shifted back to the main structure. |
The portion of the bridge over the track is here, being painted ... |
while the other half over the parking lot was being put together at the site. |
On the morning of Saturday June 18 2016, the track sections of the bridge were trucked over to the garage site and positioned for placement during the work week. |
By that afternoon, everything was in place for the heavy lifting to come. |
