CSX Trenton Line Oxford Valley PA June 11 2016

An early morning trip to an old hunting ground: the CSX Trenton Line around CP Wood. CSX Q410 just east of CP Wood approaching Heacock Road with the new SEPTA track in the foreground. It was reported that the new track got concrete ties because they could not acquire wooden ties. Except for the occasional grade crossing, it is the only SEPTA line with concrete ties.
As they have for several weekends, SEPTA was not running east of Woodbourne Station due to track work at CP Wood.
CSX on the other hand was, as the empty juice train Q141 nears CP Wood after getting permission through the work area.
The orange cars are now gone; the Tropicana train is now exclusively white.
Empties passing empties: Q141 passes K141 between Nesh and Berry.
Shortly after, K141 gets its permission past CP Wood ...
and SEPTA gets right back to work.
