SEPTA Lansdale Station Parking Garage Project Lansdale PA April 19 and 20 2016 |
Part Six of a series on the SEPTA Lansdale Parking Garage Project |
April 19 2016 With the foundation of the parking garage substantially finished, they begin work on the access road from Madison Parking Lot to the construction site. |
The access road will allow the flatbed trucks carrying the precast concrete sections (to be staged just north of the parking lot) to roll straight across to a spot just south of the garage. |
April 20 2016 In addition to the road, stone pads will be created to provide footing for the cranes that will lift the bridge and position it. |
The road over the industrial track and the runner are asphalt with rubber inserts. The road over Station Track 1 and 2 as well as the Yard Tracks 4, 5 and 6 will just get stone. |
In just a few months, this will look very different. Stay tuned. |
