Railfan Pictures of the Week - 5/15/2016

Pennsylvania Northeastern Bethlehem Branch Hatfield PA April 13 2016

Looking south from Bergey Road, at first glance it looked like L160 was pulling the tank cars in storage off the former southbound main, but something was odd.
From Unionville Pike, it indeed looked like something more, and then there is the flag.
It turned out that the day before, PN 8218 derailed, and it dug in pretty good.
The good news was that lead locomotive PN 8212 stayed upright and on the rails ...
and only the lead tank car of the string of empties joined 8218 on the ground, although the rail did roll underneath the second tank car.
