CSX Trenton Line CP Berry PA November 23 2014 |
As part of CSX's Trenton Line double stack clearance project, both tracks between CP Berry and CP Nesh had to be lowered at Southampton Road. |
CSX did some serious landscaping in this area, just compare to 2003. I am sure the neighbors are not too crazy about the new look, but the little kids must love the full size Tonka equipment. |
Track panels are lined up for placement, probably to be replaced by welded rail as soon as everything settles. |
Looking south, denuded is the word that comes to mind. |
CSX was dumping the dirt just off to the right of CP Berry, thus the use of the short haul trucks. |
