NS Harrisburg Line Bridgeport PA November 14 2014 |
The K38 symbol first popped up earlier this summer when NS terminated 38G and 39G at Abrams Yard. The experiment only lasted a couple months. NS 38G/39G are back to Allentown/Pavonia trains; K38 is now just another local out of Abrams. Today it's making the round trip to the Falls and back. |
For a mundane chore such as this, the GP38-2 was created, and K38 had a pair of high hood versions synonymous with Norfolk Southern, NS 5121 and 5171. |
Box cars, tank cars and one covered hopper thrown in just for variety. |
