NS Morrisville Connecting Track and SEPTA Norristown Line Norristown PA August 11 2014 |
In today's railroading world, how many times do you see two different trains, both with cabooses? For two different railroads? At almost the exact same location? Welcome to Norristown PA First up, NS H84 is shoving back from Abrams Yard over to the Morrisville Line via the Morrisville Connecting Track. For protection on this move, they use caboose CR 21201. |
At Ford Street, they pass some SEPTA MoW equipment waiting on Track 1. |
The MOW equipment was waiting for SEPTA Extra 60, a tie train with caboose SPAX 2000. |
They would start dropping ties starting at MP 16.5 going south. |
