NS Morrisville Line Plymouth Meeting PA May 23 2014 |
Soon the NS will say goodbye and good riddance to hosting CSX's pair of double stacks Q190 and Q191. The circuitous routing via the NS Harrisburg Line and NS Morrisville Line to get to the CSX Trenton Line will no longer be necessary with the completion of the double stack clearance project between CP River and CP Wood. So Q190 splitting the signal at CP King will be a thing of the past. |
CSX ES40DC 5437 features the original "Dark Future" paint scheme ... |
while the trailing unit, CSX ES44AC 989, sports the later "How Tomorrow Moves" or Boxcar logo. |
With their departure, the only CSX train on this line will be the C746 run between Woodbourne and Lansdale (due to high cube clearance issues on SEPTA's Main Line). |
