SEPTA Norristown Line CP Ford Interlocking Norristown PA March 30 2014 |
The work on CP Ford Interlocking is nearly complete. The new masted signals (turned until activated) tower above the old two light signal that controlled the connecting track. |
The Communications and Signals department is putting the finishing touches in for the April cutover. |
The old dwarf signal at CP Ford that controlled Tracks 1 and 2 has already been retired, and from the looks of it, none too soon (those really look like hose clamps, really big hose clamps)). |
Looking south, the new signals for Ford are turned as well. |
Looking north, looking good. |
