Pennsylvania Northeastern Lansdale Yard Lansdale PA February 17 2014 |
Mother Nature continued to dump the fluffy white stuff on the Delaware Valley this winter, so time to get some snow shots of the local power in Lansdale. PN 5342 (aka Tiger Lady) and PN 8211 (aka Black) sit parked on the Bethlehem Running Track, usually the track that CSX uses in and out of the yard. |
Coming in on Track 1 is the local job L160 with PN 8212 (aka Blue) at the head end and string of box cars from Hatfield Warehouse on the front. |
On the hind end was the Tiger Lady's untouched sister, PN 5315 (aka ??? guess she is in need of a nickname), which after yarding the train, cut off and ran light on the BRT to couple up to the other two engines, but only after the conductor took a snapshot of those shooting him. Fair is fair. |
