NS Morrisville Line Plymouth Meeting PA February 4 2014 |
A blanket of snow has covered the Delaware Valley and, as it often does, has played havoc with the operations of the local railroads. It is two o'clock in the afternoon and NS has their hands full with trains that aren't even their own. Here the normally nocturnal Q191 is sitting on the siding at CP King, waiting for an eastbound to pass on the main. |
Power for Q191 are a pair of CSX's newest, ES44AC-H 3141 and 3118 in the new "How Tomorrow Moves" box car logo paint scheme (aka HTM). |
And what is Q191 waiting for? Why, its twin, of course! The similarly nocturnal Q190 with ES40DC 5326 leading SD70AC 4767 creeps through the snow. |

By the time Q191 finally got the ok to cross over SEPTA, the sun had popped out, thank you very much, Mother Nature, for the winter wonderland scene. |
