SEPTA Norristown High Speed Line Norristown Transportation Center Norristown PA and Bridgeport PA August 2, October 16, 18, 24, November 4 and 8 2013 |
| At the beginning of August 2013, this is what the entrance to Norristown Transportation Center looked like. A new concrete deck had been poured but the rest of the details would wait a couple more months while they concentrated on the portion of the bridge over the river. |

| Finally, with a little over three weeks until the announced reopening on November 11, they have reached the deck on October 16 and have started to lay the ties. |
 |
| Two days later and almost all the ties are down at the station. |
 |
| A week later, the rails are down and they are dumping ballast at the station. |
 |
 |
| One week to go, the third rail is in and they are removing the safety nets along the bridge. |
 |
| Three days left and the final touches are being attended to ... |
 |
| one of those being the third rail, which would be reconnected here at Bridgeport sometime over the weekend. |
