NS Harrisburg Line Bridgeport PA and NS Morrisville Connecting Track and SEPTA Norristown Line Norristown PA October 25 2013 |
A day in the life of Montgomery County's Schuylkill River Twins: Bridgeport and Norristown PA First up was H82 (the former H3A) on its way east through Bridgeport. |
Next on the Norristown side was 94M, ballast loads in Amtrak and Herzog hoppers. |
Back over to the Bridgeport side for 64T. |
On the other side of the river, a late running 20Q. |
The 94M's engines were all facing east, so on the way back they turned them in SEPTA Land, here stopping at CP Bridge. Fifty years ago you could have shot an over-under here as they rolled under the Pennsylvania Railroad's Schuylkill Branch, now a bike trail. |
Finally, with the shadows reaching out, 39G rolls through Bridgeport. |
