SEPTA Norristown Line Elm Street Station PA August 2 and September 3 2013 |
SEPTA Train 2367 at the end of the line at Elm Street Station featured a married pair with something new on the hind end ... another advertisement wrapped Silverliner V, SPAX 738. |
From a distance it looked like the Tropicana cars, but it was actually Snapple promoting their newest giveaway, and to borrow from the tag line, it was "nothing special". |
A month later, and 2367 has a pair of married pairs with a new wrapped car in the middle. |
Silverliner V SPAX 717 makes a modest boast, modest for anyone who knows Eagles fans. |
Tomorrow is the first game of the season, so right now we are tied for first place and hope springs eternal for the Iggles. However, considering they have not won a championship since 1960, many are wanting and praying for this to be the legendary "next season" (as in the constant refrain, muttered by fans every winter for 53 years, "we get 'em next season"). Check back on February 2 2014 (life, not without a sense of irony, could put the first Eagles Super Bowl win at the home of one of our most hated rivals ... ready for Miracle at the Meadowlands III?) |
