SEPTA Warminster Line Hatboro PA, SEPTA Main Line Landale PA and Pennsylvania Northeastern Bethlehem Branch Souderton PA August 24 2013 |
For the second consecutive year, the Lansdale Founder's Day Train ran from New Hope to Glenside and continued up to Lansdale, this time with an all Tuscan consist led by New Hope and Ivyland GP30 2198, here at the former Fulmor Station just south of Hatboro. |
After reversing at Glenside, C30-7 7087 led the train into Lansdale. |
Last year's operations were from New Hope to Lansdale and return, but this year they added a trio of round trips between Lansdale and Souderton with 7087 pulling into Souderton ... |
and 2198 leading south. |
At Lansdale Station, PNRR 5324 was on display as well as SEPTA's wire train with RL1A 60. |
After the Souderton trips, the New Hope return leg started a little late but everthing else seemed to go as planned. |
