SEPTA Main Line and CSX Stony Creek Branch Lansdale PA June 26 2013 |
After working on the Doylestown Branch, SEPTA's wire train rolls through Dale Interlocking past the former Reading Company Freight Station. |
The dispatcher decided to get them out of the way by sending the wire train down the Stony Creek Branch as northbound Train 564 approaches Broad Street and southbound Train 553 nears the station. |
The wire train pulls down just enough to clear the signal... |
and pops right back out to shove up to the station on the Bethlehem Industrial Track with former Jersey Arrow SPAX 601 now leading ... |
SPAX 2116, the tower car, and SPAX 2203, the wire spool car, ... |
and RL1A SPAX 61. |
The train has been parking at the station every night, and is expected to do so for another month while the work from Schoolhouse Road and CP Doyle continues. |
