Railfan Pictures of the Week - 12/09/2012
NS Connecting Track Norristown PA December 7 2012 |
NS Train 521 pulled a train of empty Reading and Blue Mountain Northern hoppers out of Morrisville, many of the cars like RBMN 7835 marked for "Rio Tinto Coal Service" with an orange triangle on the leftmost side sheet (in a homage to the Reading Company tradition). |
Although a few like RBMN 7830 and 8040 have escaped the notation. |
The same with RBMN 7848 which still boasts the full "READING & NORTHERN" lettering. |
RBMN 7806 and 7822 have the best of both worlds, but unfortunately got the attention of a youth who is still practicing his alphabet. |
Of course coal hoppers tend to take a beating as RBMN 8043 and RBMN 7950 show. |
