NS Harrisburg Line Bridgeport PA October 26 2012 |
One of the daylight regulars on the NS Harrisburg Line is 39G out of Pavonia Yard. Usually departing Camden sometime before noon, a stop to make a pickup at Frankford Junction puts it in Abrams Yard around 16:00, this time led by ES40DC NS 7507. |
With an SD60M and a D9-40CW along for the ride, about to pass a string of loaded stone hoppers on the old scale track. |
On the other end of the spectrum, daylight runs of CP 158 are rare, here showing up about 20 minutes later with SD40-2 CP 5690 and a couple more EMD units. |
Two 5-well and three single-well intermodal cars, a couple high cubes, a covered hopper and a tank car, it hardly seems worth the trip from the great white north. |
