Lansdale Station Lansdale PA March 2012 |
On or about the evening of March 14 and morning of March 15, engine or engines unknown or freight car or freight cars unknown had an unanticipated encounter with the signal for the Bethlehem Industrial Track at Lansdale Station (and not for the first time). The scene of the crime |
The victim |
As for the engines, a lineup of the likely suspects (CSX had departed the scene overnight). |
The prime suspects would be the two C39-8's that are used on the Warminster runs. PNRR 8212 is probably not the one as it has the third rail plow (as designated by the yellow outline). |
That leaves PNRR 8211, which does not. Until they figure it out, the signal remains out of service. |
