SEPTA Main Line, Doylestown Branch and West Trenton Line February and March 2012 Time is running out on SEPTA's Silverliner II's and III's. The tentative phase out date for the last of the cars is June 30, and the chapter's "Farewell to the Faithful Silverliners" charter is just seven weeks away on May 6 2012. Another endangered species: the mixed consist. With the coming of the V's and retirement of the II's and III's, the occasion of a mixed consist will be come a very rare sight indeed. |
