SEPTA Main Line Lansdale PA September 29 2011 |
While SEPTA's new Silverliner V's have been making regular training runs up to Lansdale lately, a training train featuring a real live locomotive is a rarity, especially when it is the former NJT Comet 1 set led by SPAX 2460 ... |
with the other cab car, SPAX 2461, coupled up to SEPTA 2308, their only ALP-44, which would be doing all the work. |
The crew took a lunch break as the parade of revenue runs passed by on the station tracks. |
Seven cars and an engine barely fit on the industrial, and probably wouldn't fit on the runner. |
After lunch, the train headed back into town to get ready for its regularly scheduled rush hour revenue run later in the day. |
