SEPTA has been sending its operating Silverliner V's out on revenue runs during the morning and evening rush hours. In between they are being used to qualify engineers and conductors. Silverliner V 803 leads the five car set on a training run through North Wales heading for Lansdale. |
The training train followed a revenue train out of Lansdale and turned at Carmel. |
They returned to Lansdale, parking the train in the MU yard while they took lunch, and in the early afternoon they headed back to Roberts Yard to get ready for the evening revenue run. |
The consist was 803/804/703/801/802. |
The next day Silverliner V 704 on a testing run came up to Lansdale all by itself in the rain. |
Upon successful completion of its last testing runs Friday, it was anticipated that starting Monday morning 704 would join the five car set on its run to Newark DE. |
