Railfan Pictures of the Week - 5/23/2010

SEPTA conductor Bruce Ricci passed away on May 3 2010. I knew him from his time on the wire train which I photographed often and remember him as one of the good guys. He was, at least to me, the ZZ-Top of Conductors. He loved riding motorcycles, hunting and golf and of course, with a beard like that, playing Santa on a cycle for police benefit runs, Toys for Tots and West Chester Santa runs. And he loved dogs, gotta love people who love dogs.

Of course the people that will miss him the most are his family, friends and coworkers, and these pictures are from them.
