CSX Trenton Line Langhorne, Neshaminy and Philadelphia PA March 14 2010

CSX picked a "beautiful" Sunday morning to move a PECO transformer down the CSX Trenton Line from Woodbourne Yard to the PECO siding just west of CP Berry. A thunderstorm arrived just as C964 did with CSX 2811 and 2719 pulling a spacer flat and the load.
In order to ensure its safe passage through Langhorne Station, SEPTA temporarily took down the fencing between the Trenton Line and SEPTA's Neshaminy Line. Work on resurrecting the fence began immediately after they had passed.
The rain intensified as they approached CP Nesh just a couple miles from their destination.
But between them and their destination was CSX Q438 which was stopped just west of CP Berry. Once C964 had stopped on the main, Q438 proceeded past them at restricted speed on the siding ...
and, as the skies opened up, C964 got the signal west to the PECO siding just the other side of the interlocking, where they deposited the transformer at the substation and returned home.
