Railfan Pictures of the Week - 1/24/2010
CSX Bethlehem Branch and SEPTA Main Line Lansdale PA January 2010 |
What is the difference between a light engine move and a train? At least one car, like these ... |
CSX B738 with a loaded CSX hopper sandwiched between CSX GP38-2S 6159 and GP38-2 2746 just south of Hatfield Station on CSX Bethlehem Branch January 19 2010. |
The same engines three days later, this time with a box car between them at Cannon Avenue returning to Lansdale Yard, January 22 2010. |
Three days after that it is a lone tank car joining CSX 6159 and 2746, along with the usual road power for C746, a pair of CSX SD40-2's (in this case 8801 and 8869), pausing in the rain just north of Eighth Street in Lansdale, January 25 2010. |
Later on January 25 2010, SEPTA Extra 51 with a single empty flat car passing the old Reading Company freight station in Lansdale, heading back to Liberty Yard in Philadelphia. |
The next day, 51 is back at it again, this time taking another load of rail up to Doylestown, January 26 2010. |
