East Penn Railway Quakertown Branch Quakertown PA December 12 2009 |
With RS1 57 sidelined due to compressor problems, ESPN B23-7 3153 filled in to bring Santa Claus down from the Great White North into town, passing some of the many cars in storage. |
While Santa held court inside the restored station, children were thrilled to get cab tours of 3153 just outside. |
A forlorn 57 sat just south of the station. Adjacent to the former Reading Company station, the Coca-Cola sign is barely visible on the former Lehigh Valley Transit trolley station. |
