SEPTA Main Line Lansdale PA March 20 and 23 2009

The freight house along side the SEPTA Main Line in Lansdale turns 100 years old this year, and the current owner has hired CBRE to find a tennant to occupy the space.
Built by the Reading Company, it is in surprisingly good shape considering it has not be used in decades. The tracks that serviced the building were removed in the 1990's.
The current owners are clearing out and inspecting the building. Ironically the nearby buildings, which are much newer and had been occupied up until just recently, will be demolished to make way for office space on the four acre parcel.
The interior is very spartan and open, as it was built to do one thing: move freight.
With any luck, a restaurant similar to the one in Doylestown will set up shop here.
