A followup to a study of Acela noses four years ago. |
First up Acela Express 2160 with trailing power car 2028 sporting the most common version devoid of red body striping, name or logo. |
Power car 2027 on Acela Express 2155 has the stripe and Amtrak name, both in red. |
On Acela Express 2117, power car 2005 has the plain nose with vents open on either side. |
To show that things change, four years ago power car 2032 had a plain nose, but now on Acela Express 2110 it has a striped nose featuring the blue Amtrak "Three Sheets" logo. Also both power cars appear to have a splash of yellow on the A end truck assembly, something not seen on the other three sets pictured. |
