Just to the north, SEPTA RL1A 60 waits to move the mockup to Wayne Electric where it will be cleaned up and detailed for its unveiling to the general public. One mechanical detail: to make any move from Wayne Electric, a temporary braking system will have to be devised. |

Now at least the Silverliner V can stand on its own two trucks. |
The next job on the "to do" list is attaching the draft gear and other details that will allow the car to be shuttled around to its various destinations. |
Off in the distance to the right is the statue of William Penn sitting atop City Hall, which is across the street from Suburban Station where the mockup will be on display sometime in September. |
