SEPTA Lansdale Station Lansdale PA November 1993 and August 2007

Back in 1993, SEPTA was doing some work up on the SEPTA Main Line, which is why this ballast train was up on No. 1 Doylestown Main just north of the parking lot.
On the tail end was SEPTA caboose SPAX 2000, looking pretty good in a solid coat of red.
Fast forward almost 14 years, and SPAX 2000 is still kicking around, this time on the tail end of a tie train rolling into Lansdale.
Unfortunately, the years have not been kind.
Passing the former Reading Company freight station just south of Broad Street in Lansdale.
