CSX Lansdale Wye Lansdale PA December 12 2006 |
CSX C746 brought up a new engine for the local jobs B738/B745, but CSX GP40-2 6224 was facing the wrong way, so they had to run the engine through the wye to turn it. Not really big news, except that no train has used the wye since the derailment in March 2005. Nearly 21 months later, B738 is poised to go where no engine has gone in a long time. |
The engine is passing over the very spot of the derailment. |
Everything going well as the engine approaches the station. |
Off the wye and back into the yard. |
A full yard with CSX 8852 (out of frame), 8807, 2746, 6224 and a freshly painted 2793. |
