SEPTA Germantown Depot Philadelphia PA August 31 2006 |
Former Red Arrow double ender 15 was among the former BVTA (later ECTMA) pieces stored at Germantown Depot. Looking all of its years and miles, it was loaded onto a low-boy to begin a journey to Brookville Equipment Corporation in Brookville PA and an uncertain future. |
Neither time nor grafitti "artists" have been kind to her during her long storage. |
It is unknown how it came to have the aftermarket "sunroof" option, but it was still mostly intact. |
With the arrival of its police escort, they were ready to go. Let's hope we see it again in better days. |
