CSX West Trenton and NS Wood Connecting Track and Morrisville Line April 9 2006 |
Another dimensional move via NS Lehigh, CSX Trenton and NS Morrisville Lines, here at West Trenton with NS D9-40CW 9527 leading an Air Products caboose, the two depressed flat cars with the heat exchanger, an idler flat with another NS engine on the hind end under former Reading Railroad catenary. The train was symboled O53 while on NS and W997 while on CSX. |
The SEPTA wire train was working in Wood Interlocking and had to clear up temporarily, just to make sure there were no clearance issues, which is also what the man on the front of 9527 is there for, watching to see if they clear the catenary support on the left (they did). |
Making the slow climb up the Wood Connecting Track to CP West Lang. |
After reversing at CP West Lang, the train heads east for the final few miles of its trip on the NS Morrisville Line under former Pennsylvania Railroad catenary, this time with NS Horsehead D9-40CW 9810 on the head end. |
