CSX Trenton Line CP Nesh Bensalem PA March 10 2006 |
An interesting site on CSX Q410 as it was stopped at CP Nesh on the main waiting for K207. |
Three former Amtrak Material Handling Cars (MHC) are heading for Canada. |
All the cars sport new paint. Two of the cars, GCLX 1445 and 1455, have roll up doors. |
The third, GCLX 1422, has the original door but post-Amtrak service additions of what appears to be a small rollup window on the side and two air vents on the roof. |
The reporting marks are GCLX, which internet sources identify as either Gold Coast Limited or Rail Enterprises/Iron Ore Company of Canada. The cars presumably are wearing the same numbers that they had when they operated on Amtrak until they were retired a few years ago, but their current use is unknown. |
More detail shots of GCLX 1422, 1445 and 1455 to come. |
