SEPTA West Trenton/CSX Trenton Lines Woodbourne and Philadelphia PA September 26 2005 |
After the problems on September 25 2005, SEPTA tried it again the next day with SEPTA 61 providing the power for the wire train, here waiting at CP Wood for a CSX pilot and conductor to arrive before they head down the CSX single track to the right. |
While they were waiting, CSX and SEPTA ran local job C770 around them ....... |
and down to work the Buck County Industrial Park a mile south. |
After the CSX personnel were on board, they head down the Trenton Line, here at CP Berry. |
After a few hours of work around Lawndale, they head back, this time passing C770 at CP Berry. Later I was told that SEPTA 61 also began to lose coolant as SEPTA 60 had the day before, but it had enough to get it back to the shop. Interesting that both units were rebuilt within the last year by the same shop and then suffer the same fate at almost the same time. |
