SEPTA Elmwood Avenue Trolley Depot Southwest Philadelphia February 5 2005

The Wilmington Chapter of the NRHS sponsored their annual Super Saturday trolley trip using two of the new PCC II's, numbers 2336 and 2337. Pictured here at the start of the trip, having just left the Elmwood Avenue Depot, is 2336.

Hot on his heels was 2337, heading south toward the loop on Island Avenue ....

and the pair returning after the quick trip down Island Avenue ......

and back through the depot .....

and back out of the depot to head north on Island Avenue ......

A shot from the 1950's? I don't know who the guy in the Chevy is, but he gets the Good Timing Award.
