SEPTA West Trenton Line Woodbourne PA October 1 2004 |
As the Silverliner II's enter their fifth decade of service, they have become increasingly trouble-prone and SEPTA has taken to mating them up with the newer Silverliner IV's whenever possible. The midday trains however are often solely made up of Silverliner II's and III's. Southbound SEPTA West Trenton local approaching Woodbourne with Silverliner II 201 |
SEPTA Silverliner II 251 brings up the rear as the train is about to knock down the signal. |
St. Louis built Silverliner III 223 rolls under the NS Morrisville Line as it pulls into Woodbourne Station leading a train of Silverliner II's and III's. |
This train set has spent the day as it usually does, bouncing between Elwyn and West Trenton. Notice, by way of the windshield wipers, that the engineer is on the right side of the cab on the St. Louis car above and on the left side of the Budd car below. |
