CSX Trenton Line Woodbourne PA |
The Orlando FL based James E. Strates Carnival train is the only railroad carnival operating in the United States. The mile long train made its way from an engagement in Gaithersburg MD to Danbury CT earlier this week using the CSX Trenton Line. Pictured here are the sleeper cars (named after cities were the carnival regularly performs) and the power car. Coincidently, the Ringling Brothers and Barnum & Bailey Circus train, using the NS Morrisville Line, passed over this spot just 35 minutes later, which would have been a unique opportunity for an over-under shot. Well, timing is everything. JESX 3 "GAITHERSBURG MARYLAND" |
