Even though the end was nigh, the darkness had not fully descended on Conrail's Morrisville Yard. On this day in April 1999, it had the usual assortment of SD60's, SD60I's, and C40-8W's that had come in on Mail8M and TV2M, as well as the power from the PIMO that had arrived the day before, getting ready to head out on Mail9, TV1and MOPI . Blue and white is in the sky and on the ground. |

| But change is in the air, and all is not as it had been for years, as a "pod" engine and a grey ghost from the famous Undecorated Railroad Company are harbingers of the future. | ||||||||||
