With the tie layer working Track 1 between Holmes and Grundy, eastbounds are forced to run on Track 2, which can cause a bottleneck during the morning rush. The equipment following the tie layer started south from Grundy during the rush, and made for nice props as the morning parade progressed. The results of an hour well spent turned into a study of noses, with no two the same. Leading off is a SEPTA deadhead to Trenton led by AEM-7 2305, now sporting an American flag decal under the headlight, a feature that sister 2303 has yet to acquire. Next up HHP-8 664, then NJT ALP-46 4619, AEM-7AC 939 with new logo, SEPTA GE Silverliner IV 362, AEM-7AC 917 with new paint but sans new logo (coupled to AEM-7 949 in original paint), and last but not least Acela power car 2009 with red body strip but no nose stripe nor logo. |
