Almost all of the old track structure has been demolished, with only the intersection of Bridge Street and Frankford Avenue remaining. The trestle connecting to the yard has been almost completely dismantled. |

Debris litters Frankford Avenue as the crews attack the steel and concrete. | ||||||||||
Meanwhile, a couple blocks south, work continues on the new support structure. | ||||||||||
The first train, with cars 1095, 1096, 1103 and 1104, waiting for clearance at the yard limits. | ||||||||||
At 16:45 on August 1, the test train slowly creeps through the new station, which is crawling with workers getting it ready for showtime, 4:00 AM on August 4. | ||||||||||
The test train snakes its way through the crossovers, while crews continue building up or tearing down the appropriate stations. | ||||||||||
