Aftermath of the K277 Derailment at Neshaminy Falls May 2003 |
The three centerbeam wood cars were moved down to the PECO siding just south of CP Berry, about 2 miles from the site, and removed earlier this month. As of last week, the two box cars that bore the brunt of the accident were still just south of the station, awaiting disposal. SEPTA has started work on the new switch just north of the station, and will continue the repairs to the catenary supports and wires in the coming weeks. |
