SEPTA Main Line Lansdale Station Lansdale PA September 29 2010 |
Silverliner V test train sitting on the Bethlehem Industrial Track at Lansdale Station. Lansdale is a frequent spot for test trains to pause while the crew gets lunch. |
Silverliner V 701 with wires from the testing equipment inside coming out of the window and down to the various parts of the car being tested. When spotted the next week, the wires were gone, possibly a sign that the pilot cars are nearly ready to start their revenue careers. |
Silveliner V 802 also had wires coming out the door, and these were still there as of October 5 2010. On October 6, the test train made trips to Warminster, Cynwyd, Chestnut Hill East and Fox Chase. |
