| Grafitti is a persistent problem for all of society and particularly the railroads, and in 99 cases out of 100 an eyesore to behold, but every once in a while an effort like this, however misguided, comes along. Our only wish is that someone would please give this individual another, more beneficial and legal outlet to express their considerable talent. |

| Unfortunately, the other 99 cases are more along these lines. A couple of teenage knuckleheads were tagging the black tank cars in the yard with what was presumably the only paint they had (hope it was the only paint they had, but if it wasn't, their dubious color choice would certainly be consistent with their extremely flawed decision making skills that were on display) before a railfan appeared and, like vermin, the miscreants scurried away. |

| SEPTA is usually right on top of any vandalism of their equipment, erasing almost all of the offense to the mostly stainless steel fleet as quickly as possible, as depicted on Silverliner IV 397 as it arrived at the station in the rain on April 26. Trains laying over at West Trenton yard have been especially hit. |

| CSX has also had a tagging problem on the Trenton Line at Woodbourne Yard, and now that the Lansdale jobs are exchanging engines with the Woodbourne jobs on a more frequent basis, some of the handiwork is popping up here as on GP40-2 4402. |

| Here a week and a day later we can see CSX's response to the mischief, and frankly it is not much better. It would seem that when all you have is yellow paint, everything starts to look like a nose. |
