CSX Bethlehem Branch Hatfield PA, SEPTA Doylestown Branch and Main Line Lansdale PA March 4 2010 |
March 4 finds CSX B738 on the Bethlehem Branch returning from working Hatfield Warehouse. |
Later it is over the wye and onto the front track to the Seventh Street switch to wait for a SEPTA southbound MU to clear the Doylestown Branch. |
B738 pulled a string of cars off the siding at Lansdale Warehouse on the Doylestown Branch and shoved back the mile or so to the wye and over to the Bethlehem Branch. |
With the Lansdale Warehouse siding empty, B738 is now determined to fill it, shoving seven box cars (including two high cubes) through Dale Interlocking on SEPTA Main Line. |
Later returning light on the Doylestown Branch passing the site of former American Olean tile plant. Lansdale Borough has proposed putting a park and ride station at this location, to ease the overflow at Colmar and Lansdale, but it has been a long time in the planning stages, and might not ever get past that. |
