Amtrak Northeast Corridor Eddington Station Bensalem PA November 23 2009 |
A week after spotting SEPTA BL15 51 at Eddington Station, more diesels pop up at Eddington. Conrail Shared Assets Operation WPFJ-10 has just finished working Eddington Siding and, after cutting off a string of tank cars that it will bring back to Frankford Junction later in the week, waits just west of the derail for a clear Track 1 back to Holmesburg Junction as Amtrak Keystone Train 646 blasts by on Track 2. |
The power for the local is pure CSAO: NS SW1001 2105 and CSX GP38-2 2812, both former Conrail engines (9415 and 8278 respectively). |
Just minutes after FJ10 departed, an Amtrak work extra of light engines GP38H-3 523 and GP38-2 720 followed heading west on Track 4 ... |
passing FJ10's cut of tank cars on the siding, about to knock down the signal at Eddington. |
