| With the recent announcement of delays in the delivery of the Silverliner V's (hard to believe the initial request for proposal went out almost seven years ago), the Silverliner II's and III's get a extension from their date with the scrapper. Whether they make it to the scrapper is another matter. |
| Train 4524 spends the day in the MU yard at Lansdale, waiting to turn this afternoon as Train 551 with Silverliner II "Pennsylvania" 269 ready to lead Silverliner III 238 and II 263. |

| Externally they look in good shape, but as in most stories, there is another side, and 263's other side shows one reason why they are nearing the end of the road. With a roof like this, 263's nickname should be "Patches". |
