SEPTA Doylestown Branch Lansdale PA March 26 2008 |
As an addendum to Daylight shots of nighttime locals out of Lansdale PA, B738 worked the Doylestown Branch during the day on March 26 2008, a run that is normally served by nocturnal B745. But due to crew scheduling, car delivery or other problems, B738 gets to run the branch once or twice a year. Adam Christman chased it the couple miles out and back. |
Getting ready to leave, they will shove south of the station to Dale Interlocking .... |
and run east on the Doylestown Branch. The front track, which was used in the past for this move and others, has been occupied by CSX track equipment for over a year. |
With only few box cars, the entire train fits on the siding at Lansdale Warehouse. |
After dropping off the cars, it is back to Lansdale as it passes the station headed to the yard. |
