Amtrak Northeast Corridor Eddington Station November 12 2007 |
The History Channel is advertising its upcoming documentary about 1968 with a wrapped Acela Express that will ply the Northeast Corridor for the next month. After a press event at Washington Station (probably the reason for its 12 minute departure delay), Train 2104 on its maiden run heads to New York City and more cameras, with power car 2013 leading. |
Compared to its plain jane siblings like the set on Train 2166 ... |
the wrapped set is going to take some getting used to, but variety is the spice of life. |
Power car 2012 brings up the rear on both runs, as the trains are turned at Sunnyside. |
The only other custom set is the one with "amtrak.com" lettering on the power cars. |
